Omaha, Neb. -- In one of the lowest scoring Finger Bowls in Finks League history, the Dublin Brawlers defeated the Creighton Barrels 29-22 in Week 17 at Morrison Stadium.
Brawlers owner Kris Herigodt became the third rookie to win a Finger Bowl, following Steve Cline (FB 11) in 2004 and Jeff Ponczak (FB 13) in 2006. The Brawlers were powered by MVP RB A. Peterson MIN, who scored 11 points.
Finger Bowl 15 ranks as the fourth lowest scoring Finks final after FBs 1, 4 and 6. Herigodt wins possession of the Abe Gibron Trophy for the next year.
Ghost of Sweetness earned third place with a 46-36 win over defending league champion Hurricane Quags.
